THEME: Economics of INNOVATIVE INVESTMENT and Research

This is an open conference/ tour, structured to provide attendees and members with broad knowledge on Innovation economics, as a theory that emphasizes entrepreneurship and invention, knowingly that the central goal of economic policy is to spur higher productivity through greater innovative investment and that markets relying on input resources and price signals alone will not always be as effective in spurring higher productivity.
It is an opportunity to advance professionally, through hearing, discussing, reacting to opinions of various professional experts and other stakeholders in the industry thereby enhancing capacities.

This conference goes beyond furthering individual’s professional development, but will help to achieve efficient performance, improve in understanding of investment risk, business reputation management, innovation, enhancing the prospect of projects value, and the associated investments.
Participants in this interactive and engaging educational tour will receive knowledge on the overview of key productivity, sustainability trends and challenges, applying those concepts to cases.
Activity1. Conference/ Industrial Visits:
Day 2. August 3.
Orientation Tour to New York City: Central Park, Rockefeller Center, St Patrick’s Cathedral, Times Square, The UN Building and more. Afternoon meeting with Financial company.
Capacity enhancement: (Day 3. August 4)
(Participants are expected to join either group A or B participate actively in the group activities i.e group research on specified focus to be researched personally in advance), group discussion on site and presentations.
Review of paper presentations by the group at the capacity building session.
Both group A and B, are to present their researched papers on specified focus (which has been researched personally in advance),and discuss them objectively.
Below are the mandatory groups / research topics:
Day 4. August 5. Financial Tours:
Old City, “FIDI” (the Financial District), Wall Street, New York Stock Exchange.
(Please note this tour does not go inside the New York Stock Exchange which has been closed to visitors since 2001).
Activity 3. Celebration/ Dinner (Day 5. August 6 )
Farewell / Presentation of certificate of attendance/Dinner
